I'm also having trouble with USR/3Com V.90 internal - mine's listed as
"OK" in the previously-mentioned database (model 5687-02, FCC ID
4X2USA-25223-M5-E, 16-bit ISA, NO JUMPERS(!)).

Works fine in windoze, but will not respond to anything I've tried
under  Linux (or even MSDOS).  Just sits there.

Any clues (or hints)?
