Mount the source cdrom for 6.0 and do.

cd /cdrom/Rehar/RPMS

rpm -i kernel-source-2.2.5-15.i386.rpm
Thats the kernel source, possably you will need the headsers also.
rpm -i kernel-headers-2.2.5-15.i386.rpm

To compile a kernel you will also need to have the kernel development
rpms loaded, and the compiler, try all the command for make first and
see if all goes ok, if not look thro' the list of rpm's you can then
install whats needed.
