When you make up a message with a microsoft mailer, it often uses HTML to do
formatting in your text. Look at your screen when you are composing a
message. If you can underline a word, or cahnge the font, or if your font is
a proportional-width font, then the odds are that your package is going to
send HTML-ised mail.

A lot of people on the linux list aren't using mailers that handle HTML, so
they see formatting tags all over the place in your messages and can't
reply. The rest of the world uses M$, which is whay you have not had
complaints until now.

To fix it, Select menu item "Format|Plain Text". Your screen font should
change to fixed-width courier.

The HTML issue: I've reduced the size of my print so I hope that does
something, otherwise I don't know what to do. I've been using this
MS-Outlook for quite a while and no one has said anything until now.

All right, I hope that issue is settled. Now on to the subject of this
post.
