hi ! i have a problem with my smtp-server. i am admin of the domain "vauban.uni-freiburg.de" . in the neighborhood there is the domian "vauban.de" . the postmaster of "vauban.de" is complaining about mail that is obviously for my domain but gets to him. the reason is that users in my domain use "vauban.de" in the FROM:.. of their mail-software (pop3). the server processes mail with sendmail. my question is: how can i block/modify the wrong mail so that so correct FROM-address is used? is it a problem of the smtp-server or the pop3-server? i use suse 6.1. ralf.
