Hi everybody.
I'm using RedHat 6.0 in a single machine -not in a LAN- connected to my
ISP by modem/ppp.
I activate my loopback device with the following commands:
# ifconfig lo 127.0.0.1
# route add -host 127.0.0.1 lo
Even after I configure my loopback device, I cannot do:
# lynx http://localhost
and I can telnet to localhost to the default port but NOT to port 110.
Is this any kind of problem or should I think everything's ok?
Should I setup any feature in the apache web server?
Any hint?
