I have a virtual domain in my single machine.
I was used to send mail from command line like:
        # mail -s 'Any subject' [EMAIL PROTECTED] < anyfile.txt
and sendmail masqueraded my inexistent e-mail address
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) with my real one: [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
I could do this by adding a line to /etc/mail/genericstable like:
        kdetest [EMAIL PROTECTED]
and issuing the command:
        makemap -r hash /etc/mail/genericstable.db < /etc/mail/genericstable
But now this is not working under RedHat 6.0
Even there is a new "/sbin/mailconf" tool under RedHat 6.0 which is
supposed to masquerade any local address with any other existent one, it
still DOES NOT work.
Is there a new behaviour of sendmail in RedHat 6.0 different to previous
versions?
TIA
