Hi Paul

I personally do not use Chinese platforms. As far as I know, there are several
ways to display Chinese in Linux. You may either install Linux Distributions
with Chinese Display support or, alternatively, install the Chinese Linux
Extension (CLE) to your existing RH6.0.

The former include:

1. TurboLinux
either in Simplified (GB) or Traditional (Big5) Chinese but not both.
2. Xteam Linux
developed in Beijing, support GB only.
3. OpenLinux 2.2N
   Big5 only
4. BluePoint Linux
Not yet officially released. The beta version is an add-on to RH. Support GB.

The CLE is developing by kind hearted developers in Taiwan. It supports both GB
and Big5. CLE is available at ftp://ftp.linux.org.tw/pub/CLE/

Downloading the sources could be very painful as the CLE packages can be as big
as hundred megabytes. Several books, of course written by Taiwanese, have CDROM
bundled with RedHat6.0+CLE0.8 available in the market. Maybe you can contact one
of the publisher to order one. Tel: +886 2 27042762. Fax: +886 2 27029705.

Hope the above information help you!
