They say no and the screen shots show as if it can be started by
mouseclick like any other app under windows.

I think that it IS a good thing to do. Everyone bitches about MS-software
and prays others to use Linux, but noone ever thinks about why MS-software
get the status it has. And you can say what you want, for me Linux is
trickier to use than MS-stuff, W9x is just easy to use (if it works, hehe).
I don't say Windows is better, but any dumbass can install it and using
internet software packages as they come along with AOL or Compuserve are
designed to be used by dummies - no worries about modem lock files, no
worries about ppp-daemons, no worries about the modem one uses. It all
comes down what a user is willing to put up with, for surfing the web and
emailing around i'd say almost any OS is good for that.
The WinLinux is designed for ppl who want to try Linux without major
repartitioning and configurations, it is not a full grown Linux distrib. I
think it is a nice idea to get people in touch with Linux, that still has
the image to be the hackers and coders OS that is far too difficult to use
for ppl, who are not a rocket scientist.
This is my personal opinion and worth two Pfennigs ;)
