Next time you telnet in take a look at your XF86Config file located in
/etc/X11/ you'll see an area called font path. Here's a snipit from my section,
see how they compare.
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi:unscaled"
FontPath "usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi:unscaled"
it goes on but thats just an example.
