Hi,
I've run into a problem that I hope you can help solve. My
connection is a dial-up 33.6 that disconnects automatically on the server
end after 1 hour has passed. I am trying to upgrade my RH5.2 installation
by downloading all the RPMS for RH6.1 from
ftp.cdrom.com/pub/linux/redhat/redhat-6.1/i386/RedHat/RPMS. The problem
is that I cannot manually download them all. I want to be able to have
cron dial up in the middle of the night and retrieve the files until it
has them all. Currently I can get it to dial and use wget to get the
files, but the problem is that when it reconnects to get another set, it
begins again with the initial set but tagging a .1 onto the file name.
Therefore, I can never get more files than it can get in 1 hour. Is there
any way to make it check and if it already has the file(s) to just move
on to the next so that eventually I will have every RPM?
