irq dma

HI everyone,
Can anyone tell me how I can check my irq and dma settings in Caldera
2.2?

Also why is it when I go into the kernel and try to install any driver I
get this "failed module message"?  It happens every time no matter what
I try to install.
     I enjoy seeing how helpful everyone is.
