That happens here also, i think its because you are defineing the
othersides IP "before" the program has been started, the program
possably being Jnos or Tnos right.?

O yes, the need for sleep(s) is not absolultely nessacary.

If you consult the nos-bbs archive at hyrda@carleton you might well
find a beter answer as i belive this has been dissussed on the
nos-bbs list before.
