Thanks for the info, unfortunately, that's easier said than done. In the
BIOS, I can only input a two-digit heads number. I changed it to Auto and
tried that, but it failed with the following:
L 80 80 80 80 80 80 80 80 80 80 80 80 80 80 80 80 80 80 80
and the 80 repeats infinitely. I also set the BIOS to allow Large Disk
Access and tried to change the heads number again. Still, it only allows a
two-digit number.
Eureka! By turning on the Large Disk Access and setting the hard drive type
to Auto, it booted 5.2. Now on to 6.1 . . .
Thanks Jan! Even though your suggestion wasn't the on-point solution, it
definitely got me where I needed to be thinking.
