Hi,
I am using RedHat Linux 5.2. One serial port is connected to ISDN
Modem and ther other one is connected to Modem. My modem make is
zyxel Elite 2864.
My modem (or is it mgetty) is not answering. I had a line in inittab as
V1:2345:respawn:/sbin/mgetty -x 2 -s 115200 -n 1 -D ttyS1
I am not sure whether above line 115200 is correct? what should I
give? How do I find my modem speeds etc?
Another strange problem i am facing is some times the above line is
commenting. What could be the reason?
One more strange thing is my ISDN modem is creating a lock like
/var/lock/LCK..cua0 where as my modem is creating lock ttyS1. Why
on the same machine it is creating two diffrent ways is not clear?
Can any body give pointers?
