RH 6.1 Window manager question

Hi gang,
  I have installed RH 6.1   Gnome and KDE worked great and I could use
the desktop switcher to change back and forth untill I switched to
Another Level.  Now Another Level *always* starts even after choosing
KDE or Gnome from >it's< desktop switcher.  Whats the deal here and how
to get back to Gnome or KDE??
