Hi,
I wanted to understand diffrence between telnet and rlogin.
I have machines A and B. I am working on A, and B is connected to
external modem. If I rlogin to B and start a session with modem by
issuing cu -l ttyS1 etc. and AT commnads it is responding. If i close
the session by issuing the command "~." I am coming out of the rlogin
session instead of getting prompt on machine B. This is happening
if i rlogin as normal user and "su" or rlogin as root.
I am using RedHat Linux 5.2 and modem is Zyxel 2864.
Thanks In Advance,
Sambaiah Kilaru.
