Hi,

I wanted to use cdparanoia to make a wav using a music CD as source.
The command was /usr/bin/cdparanoia -v -w 2 queen.wav
The answer was:
"Checking /dev/cdrom for cdrom
testing /dev/cdrom for cooked ioctl() interface
CDROM sensed : ATAPI compatible FX400E
Verifying drive can read CDDA
Unable to read any data; drive probably not CDDA capable
006:could not read any data from drive"

CDROM is Mitsumi FX400, and it works, I installed RH using it. The CD is
good, I can listen it by cdplayer.

What means "CDDA capable" ?
Any ideas ?

Thanks
Cristian
