Hello,
I have two computers at home: a laptop, which I use for connecting
to the Internet and runs Windows 98, and a desktop, which is
currently running both Windows 98 and Linux in separate partitions.
Whenever I download a big file (like the new kernel sources) which
doesn't fit on a floppy, I have to zip it into an spanned archive
across multiple disks and then I have to read it from Windows 98
on the desktop computer. The unzip version I have cannot handle
spanned zip files. Can the newest version of this program read and
write them? Do you know any other programs that would make the
job easier? May a DOS version of tar?
Thanks,
