ethernet problem

Hi friends,
I install my ehtercard(ne2000 clone--UMC9008) in my machine.
I set it by netcfg in RH6.0 and chose 'Activate interface at boot time'.
It can be used after setting, but when I reboot the machine, I get the following error:
Determinating IP information for eth0... Operation failed
Someone help me?
