I have a program that includes a telephone number in stdout, but the script is not doing anything. It invokes chat, but the chat manual does not explain the suggested script. /usr/sbin/chat -l LCL..ttyS1 -t 90 ABORT BUSY "" ATZ0 OK ATDP<number> / OK >/dev/ttyS1 </dev/ttyS1 2>/tmp/err & I'm running RH 6.0, so chat is located in as above. And I'm using ttyS1 serial device. Is there something I could pass to chat just to make sure it works with the port? Haines Brown
