It took from 12 to 18 hours to compile completely (I don't know
exactly because I left the computer working when I went to bed and
it had finished by the time I woke up). I don't know if I'd call it a fast
CPU (it's a Pentium 133), but it surely has little memory.
Don't worry, I know you sent this reply before you read my report. I
wrote both mails at different times, but I connect to my ISP once a
day to cut down my phone bill. Otherwise my dad would try to kill
me ... :-) I'm sorry about the inconveniences this may cause.

Oh yes! Compiling a kernel is a piece of cake compared to
compiling Wine! But from a programming viewpoint, I find Wine ten
times more impressive than the Linux kernel.
By the way, which Wine-related mailing lists are you subscribed
to? I subscribed to one, but I haven't gotten anything from it yet. I'm
really interested in this project, and I want to know all about it.
Totally off-topic, but what do you do with Linux? I mean, what is
your relationship to him? (I'm sorry, but in Spanish you must
assign a gender to everything, and in my mind Linux is a boy ...)
