Hello guys,

I hope I can get some help from y'all experienced Linux users. I am
running Linux Mandrake 6.0 with the latest version of the Linux kernel.
My problem is this:

I have 2 graphics cards - one that came with my computer when I bought
it, a S3 Trio64V card and I bought a better one - Creative's Graphics
Blaster 3D with the Cirrus Logic chipset CL-GD5464 which is compatible
with Linux. Linux runs fine and initializes the S3 graphics card that
came built-in with my computer but it does not recognize my Graphics
Blaster 3D card. Why is this? I had to take out my Graphics Blaster 3D
card in order for Linux's window manager (KDE) to run - if I put it back
in, Linux does not boot into X. Do I have to get in BIOS to disable the
S3 card and install the Graphics Blaster card in order for Linux to
recognize it? If this is the case, how can I get Linux to recognize the
new card that I bought? I've read documentation in Creative's web site
according to compatible Cirrus Logic chipsets (my card is compatible)
but Linux does not recognize it.

Am I missing something here?? Please help me out!!!

Thanks a lot in advance,
