In switching my list subscriptions from one server to another, it
turns out that vger.rutgers.edu MAPS_DULL Project spam blocker, and so
refuses to accept by e-mail messages or commands to its lists
(linux-newbie, linux-hams) The reason, apparently, is that my
"mail program" is not configured with the name as my ISPs
outbound mail (SMTP) server. I can receive message, and I'm managing to
send this message with Netscape communicator.
By "mail program," I'm assuming what is meant is sendmail, and that
sendmail.cf should be made aware of the address of my ISP's mail server
(i.e., mail.tiac.net). However, I don't see that sendmail can be
configured
in that way.
How do I approach this problem? Am I misunderstanding the problem?
