Free Internet Access in Linux?

Hi,

There is a big hype of ISPs that offers free Internet access (PPP/SLIP).
I know few that do that for windoz, but I'm wondering if it can be used
in Linux.. such as netzero, altavista, or juno?

Has anyone tried it?
