I have installed Linux Red Hat 6.1
Unfortunately I have problem with connecting to Internet because
something wrong went with my modem or some configuration.
Will you so kind to help me out of this situation.
1. During attempt to connect via RH PPP Dialer in Red Hat 6.1 I received
following
message:
"Failed To activate interface"
2. During attempt to add Modem in Dialup Configuration Tool I received
following
message:
"Application "rp3-config"(process 3127)has crashed due to a fatal Error
(Segmentation Fault)"
3. During attempt to Debug (Dial the selected Internet Connection) i received
following message:
"WvDial:Internet dialer version 1.40
Cannot open /dev/ttyS0:Device or resource busy
ERROR:Unable to initialize modem
DIALING FINISHED"
