tomsrtbt setup

I want to copy data from my network to an old laptop with a 3c589 lan
card.  When I boot with tomsrtbt it loads the 3c59x driver for a card "
I think " and I can't ping an IP.

How to I tell it to use 589

How do I save the configuration to the floppy

Where do I set the laptop IP?  resolv.conf ?
