I don't know your printer. I run an HP PaserJet 4 here on my LAN, connected
with its own IP address. The printer is in /etc/hosts under the name
"caxton". Here is the printcap entry I use (actually two -- ascii for text,
raw for Postscript):

ascii|caxton_ascii:\
       :lp=:\
        :rm=caxton:\
        :rp=text:\
        :lf=/var/spool/lpd/ERRORLOG:\
        :sd=/var/spool/lpd/caxton_text:

raw|caxton_raw:\
        :lp=:\
        :rm=caxton:\
        :rp=raw:\
        :lf=/var/spool/lpd/ERRORLOG:\

This assumes the network printer itself runs an emulation of lpd.

Hope this is of some help. Good luck.
