Thanks for the help with the swap partition problem on caldera.
I have another couple of questions.
The first is about kppp. One of the isp's that i am trying to use is
freewwweb. I am trying to dial in with kppp using the option terminal
window. The first few days of using kppp to connect it would establish
the connection then waits for a few seconds after the window pops up
then prompt me for user id and password. Now the window pops up but does
not do anything, if i wait, it disconnects and a window pops up saying
"daemon died unexpectedly" , if i hit the enter button after a few
seconds it says something like "H@#$@%#%!" and then "P*%0as" i tried
entering passwords in these spots but i get disconnected. I have the DNS
entries entered like the isp says on their home page. Anybody have any
ideas?
Second question is how can i get a list of commands for linux like cat,
free, ps aux, and what they do.
TIA
Dan
