I cannot directly answer your questions, however i can give a few pointers,
i hope they are relavant.

Number 9 cards are supported, supported cards can be found in the file;
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/Cards
The cards you mention is not there, however its normaly beter to check for
the chipset not the make/model of the card.


You can possably get beter info from the web site of xfree86,
www.xfree86.org

Its not much but i hope it helps you along the road a little.
