  In order to configure a printer you must do the following things:
1. Compile your kernel with support for the PC-style parallel port (if you
run Linux on a PC, of course), and with parallel printer support, and
then install the new kernel.
2. Download the 'apsfilter' package, and run it's setup program. It will
ask you for the type of printer you have, will install a filter and make
the necessary entries in '/etc/printcap'.
