Hi;
Here is a situation I have gotten myself into.
Since installing RH6.1, about a month ago, I have been logging on as root doing
upgrades and generally learning about Linux.
Now someone mentioned that it not a good idea to log on as the root, because I
could inadvertently damage the system and render it useless. Good idea, I
thought. So last night I logged on as a user. Well, all the customizations,
screen and otherwise were not there.
Customizations included both system ( e.g. new RP3 or IMLIB) and software( e.g.
Netscape 4.7, Gnome, Enlightenment) upgrades, and GUI.
Question:
Is there an easy way to have the customizations, without going through the
process again, when I log on as a user?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks:
Masoud
