Every user has his own directory in /home root has his directory in /root
In thoses directory customisation for enviroments is placed,  you could
copy (as root) the .enlightenment files to your user account and use 
chown user /home/$user/.Enlightenment/*
to change the permissions otherwise you as a user wont be able to use
anything.

You may even find it easyier to reconfigure you window enviroment over new.
