Hi,
I tried runnig /usr/sbin/sndconfig to set my sound card up but failed.
Under windows, the irq is set to 3 (which is not allowed in Linux right?)
and I think the device is a Rockwell Riptide PCI. On a list of sound
cards on http://www.4front-tech.com/osshw.html, this is listed as :
Rockwell Riptide PCI *NOT SUPPORTED YET*
My questions are:
(a) What is OSS? And why must I use it?
(b) How do I change the irq of the device?
(c) Can I configure sound on my system with this soundcard?
Thanks,
-Karthik.
