Hi, I'm just experimenting with connecting a monochrome monitor (hercules or cga) with a hercules monochrome videocard to a P133. I get it to work in console mode, but I can't get it to work under X (I haven't got the slightest clue on what settings (btw: what do all those numbers mean?? I now that two numbers are used for resolution, but the rest???) I have to use, and with xf86config, I can't choose using a monochrome hercules card). The man pages for XF86_Mono don't provide sufficiant info on what to do. Does anybody have any experience with something like this, or where I can find a decent howto? I'm using redhat linux 6.
