Hi,

I have seen this msg posted on this list and a few others, but have found
no answers to it, so here goes again. I run a K6-2 with a 13G hd and
128M. My partitions are as follows:

/dev/hda1 -> /dosc ~7.8Gb
/dev/hda2 -> /boot 30M (begins on the 1020 cylinder and ends on 1023rd)
/dev/hda3 -> /     ~3G
/dev/dha4 -> extended partition
/dev/hda5 -> swap ~200M
/dev/hda6 -> /home remaning space.

I haev the binaries for the RH 6.1 that I bought from lsl.com and after
asking me to select the packages this is what I get:

------------Exception Occured----------

and the installation aborts.

What is a workaround? Can I install from this cd at all or must I throw
it away? Can I get the installation dir. from a redhat mirror and install
it off the /dosc? I remember I tried doing that once and I had the same
error and the installation stopped. What is this about?

Thanks,
-Karthik.
