I don't use Corel, so I don't know how much of the Debian packaging system
it has retained. On regular Debian, the basic tool for installing packages
is "dpkg". The tool for getting packages is "apt-get". The tool for looking
things up in the package database is "apt-cache". You might see which, if
any, of these is included by Corel.
There also exists an application called "alien" that converts among the
.rpm, .deb, and .tgz formats (and perhaps others).
For more specific help, you'll need to find an actual Corel Linux user, and
I don't think they are all that common yet.
