An option that I use is in the /etc/ppp/peers/ISPNAME I use
'usepeerdns' for each one. Most ISPs can send their DNS server settings
in the initial settings if required. Or you could just add it to the
/etc/ppp/options file.
Using usepeerdns will automatically change the /etc/resolv.conf file if
new DNS servers are sent to the pppd daemon.
