Telnet to Windows: There is no particular difficulty doing this from the
**Linux** side. On the Windows host, you will need to be running a telnet
server ... I believe such products can be purchased, but you'd want to go to
a Windows list to get the details.
Access the Linux partition from Windows: technically, you want to access an
ext2 partition from Windows (at least probably; of the several filesystems
used with Linux, this is bar far the most common). About a year ago, I saw a
Windows app for this purpose announced; it was available from some site in
Australia. I no longer have the URL. Perhaps someone else will recall better
what I remember only hazily.
