Nothing, just got the name mixed up.
Some Unix systems call it `userdel` other call it `deluser`, just got
confused on his command goes with what Unix.
Why do everything by hand though, when you can write a 10 line bourne shell
script and `userdel` to "clean up" all the mess this user made during his
time on the system?
