take a look at the how-to's on your rh 6.2 cd, they should give you plenty of info about partitioning your disk. i've never installed red hat, but i have installed mandrake, so i assume the procedure would be the same for both. in disk druid, you should see options for creating, editing or deleting partitions. create your "/" and "usr" partitions here, as well as your swap partition (make sure you set the option to swap).
