Sean (and everyone else who is relatively new to linux-newbie) --
This is the kind of problem that the list experiences from time to time. It
is caused by the a combination of misconfigurations -- the MTA at the
receiving end sends the bounces to the original poster instead of to
[EMAIL PROTECTED], and since nobody actually admin's the
linux-newbie list we can't ask the list manager to fix it the easy way (by
unsubscribing the address) at this end. Added to this is the problem that
the bounce message is coming from a non-existent host (quios.custserv.com).
I've been responnding to the ones I get by sending mail to:
a) [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
b) "Winzer Jr., Wally (BF7132)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
This is the tech contact for the domain quios.com, and
he needs to fix the DNS error involved here (surely the
address should read custserv.quios.com).
In practice, this won't get fixed until someone at quios.com fixes it.
