Well I would have thought so, but using redhat 6.1/Netscape4.72 I get:

[path to home directory]/cache390967200031C18.png: unknown or unsupported
image type

I have been trying to look at some png images for the Spruce and Mahogany
mail clients on their web sites. If I save the pages to a png file on disk
and then use 'xv' I can see them fine (so the web pages themselves are
obviously okay). Try:

http://www.xtorshun.org/spruce/shots/main.png
http://www.wxwindows.org/Mahogany/screenshots/unix.png

I have tried clearing out the disk/memory cache with no effect. Under the
preferences the PNG type said 'Unknown/ask user', the 'Netscape' button was
greyed out so I couldn't manually select that.

If anyone has any ideas about this, and how I can view png images in-line
then let me know,

Thanks.

John.
