I respect the comments, however i have never seen this happen to me, let me
explain what i use rdate for.
I sync my systems from one particular server here at home, that server uses
an internet provider for getting time, i sync all my systems from one
computer here because i have a lot of mounted partitions via NFS.
I have never experianced any problems with clock screw when compiling any
programs which uses partitions from different computers all at the same
time.
Or experianced any time problems at all.
Gruss.
