Patition bigger than 8GB in RedHat 6.2

I have a 10GB hard disk, when i installed RH 6.1, i tried to make this as one big partition, the disk druid said that it was too big. Then I had to split it in 2 partitions. My question is, can I make this as 1 big partition of 10 GB in RH 6.2?
