The most important thing is make sure the partition where your "/" root
filesystem is going to be placed is below the 1023 cyls mark, that is quite
possably what the disk utility is moaning about.
Why would one want a 10 GB partition anyway.??? How about swap, that is
normally a partition by itself as well.
I for one would certainly NOT define such a large partition, 2Gb for the
complete system is enough, you can alter what you want after the install.
