Whichever one you are (or your sysadmin is) most familiar with. Seriously.
Running an Internet server requires some expertise, and the Linux
distributions have been diverging in many small ways, making the needed
level of expertise somewhat distribution specific. Also, you need to stay
current with security advisories; while some (like the 2.2.x kernel problem)
are generic, others are specific to particular distributions.
