Hallo,
I installed Netscape 4.72 under Linux SuSE 6.4. Calling Netscape as root works
fine. Calling it from /home/edgar ( my user directory ) works only if an
internet conection is activated. Otherwise the system freezes ( no console
changes possible, no Netscape commands, nothing ). I have to kill X11 with
Strg+Alt+Backspace and start again.
The "preferences" in both Netscapes are -as far as I can see it - the same. In
both cases I start with http://localhost/ as a local url.
After I started the /home-Netscape with an Internet connection, I may disconect
and Netscape continues working as it should.
Some hints what is happening ? Thanks in advance
