Howdy all,
Well, since my telnet problem was apparently unsolvable, I decided to go
ahead and install and use OpenSSH. However, it doesn't seem to work too
well.
To refresh :
RH 6.0
I installed the OpenSSH 2.1.1 rpm and then did "make host-key" I also made
a file /etc/sshd_config and put a single line in "Protocol 2,1"
Now, when I try to log in using my SSH client for my Win98 box (ttssh) I
simply get an error : Connection Refused
I don't get to enter any information at all.
I'm assuming that the SSH daemon is either not running at all (ps doesn't
show it) or that it's running incorrectly. The docs that come w/ OpenSSH
don't seem to be of very great help either.
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks,
Dave
