edit your .xinitrc
windowmaker - 'wmaker', before this works you must "install" windowmaker
"wmaker inst"
gnome - 'gnome-session'
kde - 'startkde' I AM NOT SURE ABOUT THIS ONE
the single quoted text must be placed in the xinitrc file.
