On trying to run the app, I get an error msg. first saying that the video
mode is being protected and the directX driver cannot set the mode etc. I
can click on ok to close that window, then the machine freezes up and there
is no process called wine when I check by telnetting from a neighbouring
machine. The keyborad and mouse is immune to any action. I need to kill
something, but I am not sure what! Should I kill fvwm or xinit?
Also, on the side: if I want to specify the XF86Config file for each
user, ie I want user1 to run X in a 16 bit depth, and a resolution of
1024x768 and user2 to runX in 8bpp and 640x400, how do I specify these?
Thanks,
-Karthik.
